Tell Us About Your Favorite Park District Treasures

From the Golden Lady (Statue of the Republic) in Jackson Park to the Columbus Park Refectory on the West Side, from Buckingham Fountain to the Garfield Park Conservatory, Humboldt Park Boathouse, and Field House murals across the city - Chicago’s parks are home to some of the most beautiful and historically significant art, architecture, and landscapes in the nation.

As the Chicago Park District prepares to celebrate our Centennial in 2034, we’re developing a Centennial Plan for Historic Assets - a roadmap to preserve, restore, and reimagine our parks’ historic treasures for the next hundred years.

We want to hear from you! Tell us which historic buildings, landscapes, sculptures, murals, or park features matter most to you - and which might need some extra care or attention.

Your stories, memories, and ideas will help inform our Centennial Plan and guide our stewardship of Chicago’s shared park heritage.

Use the form below to share your favorite Park District treasure. Submissions will be accepted from November 7 through December 15, 2025.
