Marquette Park Quartet Plays Early Music at Marquette

Join the Marquette Park Music Program for a free concert! Marquette Park's newest ensemble, its Saxophone Quartet, is the first ensemble within the modern Marquette program with the flexibility to stretch back past the music of the early 20th century into the dim past. Performing a rich mix of chorales written in 2023, art songs written in the 1800s, German hymns from the 1600s, and Italian dance music from the 1500s, come with the Marquette Park Music Program into its future as it looks back into history. This program will precede the Marquette Park Quintet in a program performing jazz standards.
