Marquette Park Quintet Plays Jazz Standards at Marquette

Join the Marquette Park Music Program for a free concert! The practice and learning of the standard repertoire of early 20th century show tunes, blueses, and contrafacts represents one of the most major obstacles in the development of any jazz musician. Come watch the Marquette Park Quintet meet and exceed this bar with ease as its members perform shibboleths which will see use well into their adult careers. This program will follow the Marquette Park Saxophone Quartet in a program performing early music.
